Please allow me one second to toot my own horn:
I MADE IT!! This is such a huge turning point. Not only have I met my 2nd mini goal, but I'm also OUT OF THE 200s AND I've reached my halfway point! So that's -5 lbs in the last 2 weeks (I guess some of that "weight" I gained was water weight?) and 50 lbs lost to date!! I honestly don't even know what to do with myself right now, haha.
There were so many temptations to resist this weekend. We went out to eat with my boyfriends mom, and I had NONE of the appetizer (loaded potato boats) even though I love them. I ordered a grilled chicken salad which came with this delicious honey-butter croissant but I didn't eat that either!
Yesterday my boyfriend and I also ordered Chili's.. and even though they have 10000 other things that I would have loved to chow down on, I got the 350 calorie grilled chicken breast on a bed of rice & steamed veggies. Afterwards I was still hungry (didn't eat the veggies.. I'm not big on cooked broccoli) and I was craving something sweet... so I had a chocolate chip muffin that I had avoided the night before, which was approx 180 calories, so not too bad!
Today is the last day of Christmas break :(! This next semester looks like it could be a tough one, but I'm committed to sticking with it and being successful scholastically and fitness-ly, ha. I know I say this alot, but seriously, THANK YOU. You are all such a big part of why I'm here, at my half way mark, and why I'm motivated to keep going. Feel free to give your own horns a good toot ;)!
